Season One Is Done!

We did it! We brought our gloves to market and our first season on store shelves was amazing! We sold out, reordered and sold out again. For the coming season, we ordered more than two times our inventory for season one. I’m very proud of what we’ve done and if I dare say, incredibly excited about what’s coming. To give you a sneak peak, we have three larger sizes coming this winter – our youth line. We also have a line of fleece gloves for cold weather in both kids and youth sizes, and yes, due to high demand, mittens for our little-little ones! Oh, and did I tell you we have colors this coming season, too? Red and Royal and for our mittens, Royal and Pink. This news of more sizes, fabrics, and styles just barely scratches the surface of what we have in store. Stay tuned and check back this summer for some preseason specials.

ZipperBack Gloves Adds Sizes For 2010!

Trouble with glovesYep, it’s true! We have added a youth line of larger sizes fitting kids ages 7-11. We had no idea when we started this journey that older kids still have a hard time putting on gloves!

Look at this picture from our time in Winter Park, CO. This father and son working together to try to get wet gloves on the young man! They allowed me to take this picture and were very disappointed that we didn’t have the larger sizes available now!

Check back and see pictures of the new line and new colors! We will also have both the children’s and youth lines in a fleecr for cold weather. Wait! There’s more! We have mittens, too! ZipperBack Mittens for our little-little ones under 3 years old! So many great things happening to make winter so much more fun for all of us, young and old a like! Yes, I said old! We will have ZipperBack Gloves for adults for the 2011-2012 season! Gotta love it!

MyShoppingConnection.com Top 50 Pick!

ZipperBack Gloves were included in the Top 50 Holiday Gifts!

ZipperBack Gloves were designed with children in mind; unlike other children’s gloves on the market, there’s a zipper closure on the back instead of Velcro, and the thumb opening is much closer to the other finger openings.$24.99 from ZipperBack Gloves {shop now}

ZipperBack Gloves are easier for children to pull on and off, and because they can fully open, they can be washed and dried – making them much more sanitary.

The gloves are snug fitting thanks to a heavy duty elastic gather on the inside of the wrist. They also feature a soft fleece “nose wipe” on the forefinger, sewn over the water-resistant shell of the glove.

Our First Review! MomCentral.com

MC-HolidayGiveaway09-Button-125x125[2]Getting your child all bundled up to go out and play in the snow can be a long and drawn out process, but kid-friendly gear can make it easier. Cut down some of the hassle and increase play time with ZipperBack gloves. Unlike regular gloves, which can be difficult to pull on, ZipperBack gloves unzip all the way along the back of the gloves to create a wide space for your child to slip his hands through. Once his hands are inside snugly, a large zipper pull allows you to zip the glove back up easily and send your child out on his way. Your child will enjoy being able to help himself as he easily gets ready for his snow-filled adventures. No more frustration for parent or child! Moreover, ZipperBack gloves have a soft fleece “nose wipe” on the forefinger of the glove that won’t irritate your child’s skin when he is faced with a runny nose.

From A Real Mom

Who Needs Pants?

…When you’ve got great looking gloves like these!

Connor received his new ZipperBack Gloves in the mail and has been wearing them off and on in our warm weather. Yep, it’s too warm to wear pants, but apparently not too warm to wear snow gloves!
He’s done pretty much everything but sleep in them!
They fit perfectly in the fingers with no floppy extra space. You know the type. When rolling a snowball the extra finger end spaces get all caught up in the snow ball, making things more difficult. So when you should be aiming at your sister, you’re still trying to make the darn snowball! Also a great safety feature for winter toys, such as rope tows. Children will feel when their fingers get caught in something.
They hug his wrist and forearm all the way to the end of the glove too! No snow getting in here! He loves the zippers and can easliy get them on and off himself. If you have children then you really should check these out.

I’m hooked and won’t be buying any other type of glove for Connor from now on.

Frankly put, they don’t fit like a glove, they fit how a glove SHOULD fit! ;-)
Oh dear, he’s eating pumpkin pie in them now…gotta go!
